I acknowledge the Jinibara people as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land where I live and work to the north-west of Meanjin (Brisbane), and I pay my respects to Elders past and present.
I celebrate the diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and honour their ongoing connection to land, water and community. Sovereignty of these lands was never ceded. This always was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.
